The BetterPress System works with your manual die-cutting machine to create beautiful, effortless, and detailed letterpress effects. Four easy steps to professional results! Place BetterPress Press Plate onto the Chase (magnetic platform to hold the press plate). Next, tape Card Panel on the Platen (clear top plate with registration marks). Apply Ink onto Press Plate. Make Letterpress Sandwich and run through the manual die-cutting machine. This exciting new system was designed to be used with your Platinum or Platinum 6 Die-Cutting & Embossing Machine, and is also compatible with many other die cutting machines including the Sizzix Big Shot.

Betterpress
Very easy to use, perfect results every time. I am a little disappointed that the impression is not v deep, perhaps its my die cutting machine. I will have to play some more and try adding an extra shim, maybe that will make a difference.

I treated myself to this because I like the look of it. It didn’t disappoint. I have played with it all week and really enjoyed it. It is easy to make multiple cards, say for invitations or notecards. Easy to use . The down side is of course that I will have to buy more plates as it won’t work with anything else. I did use different card and ink and they seem to work well. I found it quite difficult to get ink stains off the magnetic plate so you have to be sure it is clean each time you use it.
